It Works!!!
***** For those of you who have been stymied by Apple’s lack of selling a USB 3.0 to USB-C cable for your new iPad Pro to connect to your Windows machine, breathe easy. In a matter of a few days I tried every USB-C to USB female adapter made with USB to USB cables of all makes and types and sizes. I was beaten down and resigned to a life of not being able to sync to my iTunes library and not being able to back-up my iPad Pro to my Windows machine. Now, voila! My life has changed. And yes it IS that good. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making an aftermarket product that correctly fills a need.

Works with Oculus Quest.
I picked this up to try my Oculus Quest utilizing the new patch Oculus released to allow the Quest to play like a Rift S over USB 3.0 when connected to an appropriate spec gaming PC with higher end graphics card.Happy to say it worked smooth as silk for Sparc, at least running off the USB 3.1 connection of my usual Rift S PC, which has one of the required gaming graphics card,1660 Ti .At 10 ft, it's a short leash for a room scale game like Sparc, but it can be used and it may be possible to extend with a USB 3.0 repeater cable, though I didn't test mine yet. Will try it when my 1660 Ti equipped laptop arrives, fingers crossed.

Received a Defective (or deceptively manufactured) cable, not functioning as USB 3.0. Fully tested
UPDATE - Second cable (Replacement for defective cable): I just received a second JOTO cable and it failed to function as a USB 3.0... Shipped from North Texas Amazon Distribution center, I would assume all units coming out of this region are most likely defective.NO NOT ORDER THIS CABLE FOR OCULUS LINK (Or for any products that absolutely require a 3.0 connection). If you order this cable just know that you stand a high risk of receiving a defective rushed product. If you have no means of testing this product through benchmarking I would advise you choose a product that has a better track record. Two defective units in a row is really bad! I hope the manufacturer reads this review and ups their QC process.Review from first cable received:Purchased for use with Oculus Link (Oculus Quest VR headset). The oculus software detected a USB 2.0 connection so I decided to run some test to see what I was working with and to rule out port or driver issues. The cable works only as a USB 2.0. Looking inside it has the correct number of pins but it’s apparently defective and only the full set of 2.0 pins are working/detected. I bench marked with a 3.0 external drive which received 160 MB/s using the supplied cable with the hard drive. With this JOTO cable I get 40 MB/s which is the max a 2.0 is rated. Sadly most people won’t be able to test these cables so all of their data transfer speeds will be much slower than advertised. I used Crystal Disk Mark to run my benchmark test. I have requested a replacement in hopes that this is just a rare defect. I have given it one star but if the replacement works I will update this review.

If fast data transfer rates are important then this cable is for you.
I looked high and low for a USB Type-C to USB 3.0 cable that was more that a few feet long. The cable that came with my audio interface is a mere 3 feet long. I don't get it? This is like buying a vacuum cleaner with a 5 foot cord. Very impractical to say the least. I needed to be able to set my audio interface on the other side of a large audio workstation and this 10 foot cable allowed that while maintaining a USB 3.0 data transfer rate. Perfect fix to a common problem.

but its reviews were good enough to merit selection
I wanted a long cable to tether my Sony A7R III. I narrowed the list of long USB C cables and this one came near the top of the reviews and was reasonably priced. It was 4 or 5 times less expensive than a cable from the premium tether cable site, but its reviews were good enough to merit selection. It has worked flawlessly to tether the Sony A7R III. It has much heavier, more sturdy cabling that a standard USB cable. I recommend trying this cable before the much more expensive version.

When You Discover an iPadPro 2018 11" Has USB C Connector And Need USB A to Backup to PC
The title says it all. Yet again, Apple changes their connector type to the new, smaller USB C . My lightening charging cords obviously don't work with this new iPad.This USB C-to-USB A cord allows me to carry one USB/Power outlet adapter for charging when traveling and interface to my PC for backups. Bonus points = 10' long cord! Very useful when seeking power outlets in public spaces like restaurants and airport terminals.

Only 1 month warranty, failed at 5 months
Purchased this cable on May 7th, 2018. It worked well, allowing me to fast charge my galaxy s9 phone. However after a few months I started having problems with the cable and it would only charge if the cable were laid out a certain way, some sort of internal short or disconnect within the wire. At 5 months, my phone kept saying that I'm not using an approved cable and would no longer fast charge and often wouldn't charge at all. I contacted the seller and they confirmed that there is only a 1 month warranty on the cable.

Works as an Oculus Quest Link Cable!
Good, sturdy braided cable that works perfectly as an Oculus Quest Link Cable so you can use your Oculus Quest as a PC VR headset, and far far cheaper than the upcoming official Oculus Link Cable!

Oculus Link,YES,Worked for me.😁
Nice quality cable, with a nice 10ft length and not too heavy either,as it's plugs into the Oculus Quest.Has some stutter to start of with but seems ok now, best I've tried by far so far apart from my type c to type c cable, only thing it's too short. Will update if cable fails in any way.

Sufficiently fast data transfers
Using a specific combination of source and destination drives, data transfers using USB 3.0 and suitable cable typically are around 120-160 MB/s; this matches that range - the actual speed varies with file size, format, numbers to be copied and other factors. £m provides sufficient flexibility of locations such that it could be used from one desk to another or without the need to have devices close to a host PC.It was inexpensive and lighter to carry (whenever that is required) than a USB 3.0 A-B equivalent.

Oculus Quest + more
I bought this cable as I needed a link cable for my Oculus Quest to my PC.Previously I bought a cable that did have the specs (it didn't have any mention to the OQ), which didn't work but a fine cable which I have kept. This DOES work (as others have stated) with the OQ to the PC.Good quality cable, just what I need and the length is good for the Quest.

Works great for the quest 2!!
As expected, works perfectly with the Quest 2 and connected quickly and feels strong enough to last a lifetime. Have not encountered any problems yet, but hopefully none will arise, will update if anything happens.
