Yes, it is expensive compared to lot of other options but one, there is the trust factor, two, the build quality/ finish of the seat is visibly lot better than all those other options. Also its weight range/ age range is more than most competitors so to me in the long run it will pay for that extra cost so if you can, I would strongly advise to go for it.. Think of it as an investment/ insurance.
