Got this for my kids to brush their teeth for an alotted time and the visual representation really helps! No batteries or app needed, does exactly as advertised and exactly what we needed ~ I actually use it for breastpumping and giving my kids a heads up on wrapping up for the night as well.

These are great timers for many uses. The colors are bright and they are pretty accurate . The size is good as well so it can be easily seen.

I purchased these for my four year old grandson. He loves the timer feature on his iPad, so I thought he would enjoy another way to see the passage of time. They were a big hit. As I read in one review, they might be a second or too off. He has set his timer and used the matching hourglass at the same time. Very close to accurate. Good, sturdy product.

Perfect for primary classroom use.

These are very good for helping preschoolers gage time. We use them for time outs and also for running certain activities. They're also very good for quelling incessant questions about how long it will be before Papa comes home. My only complaint is that the one minute timer broke (on the inside) after falling just a few feet, and it is no longer usable. But the rest of them have worked out just fine!

We had preschool teacher recommend these to help our daughter with transitions and/or times she has to wait for something. They’ve worked great! We ordered the smaller size and they’re still pretty big. Colors are bright and fun, and our daughter loves watching and waiting for all the sand to go down.

I got these to assist as visual timers for our “time-out/cool down” moments with our toddler. They’re both engaging and calming for that job and give him some autonomy and purpose in his own calming time. My toddler has become obsessed with them. He even wanted to sleep with them. I love the large size (i ordered the larger size). Feels well-made and durable with plastic on the outside. I didn’t time them for accuracy as my purpose for them doesn’t require exact accuracy.
