It's pretty hard! **Q: Can you use this on skin?** A: I have these in both red and white and neither one will write on skin. They are similar to a crayon. **Q: can I use this for concrete sidewalk to mark an unsafe area?** A: The paint stick does work on concrete. They take a few strokes to get the wax off but once you get to the paint the line is clean and crisp and for the finer lines I need they work great.
