Replaced a prayer wheel with this one. It's nice--sturdy and solid with a noiseless spin (now). The rotation of-out-the-box was good, but after about 20mins, it started making noise, and the spin wasn't as fluid. I took it apart, and sprayed a little WD-40 to loosen the baring. That did the trick. After reassembling, it's quiet, with good fluid revolutions. I'm pleased, and also interested to learn it's the Kalachakra mantra vs the Mani Mantra. I would have preferred Om Mani Padme Hum, but I recite the Mani Mantra silently anyway; so I get the benefit of both! I would recommend this prayer wheel to others.I also like the color cord it came with. Not sure if it's blessed by a monk or Lama, but I'm happy with it regardless.

Craftmanship is beautiful. Piece is well made. Wheel rotates smoothly and quietly. Nicely balanced.

It was very pretty! I bought it as a gift and it was a sensation! Easy to open and possibly add or change the meditation scripts! inspiring! Did not look cheap or of poor quality!

I've bought other prayer wheels and they've been a bit squeaky or rough turning, but this is the smoothest turning, quietest one I have ever used. Will make for lovely, non-distracting sessions of use, I'm sure. It's gorgeous! Very well made, sturdy, and beautiful.
