Not for fly fishing. It is not hydrophobic fumed silica
This is not "great for fly fishing" as it is hydrophillic fumed silica, which means it absorbs and mixes with water. Hydrophobic fumed silica is what you want for a dry fly floatant, this product will not work for that and should not be labeled as such. It is the opposite of what you want for fly fishing!If you take hydrophobic fumed silica and put it in a jar with water and shake it up it will stay on top indefinitely. This stuff mixes in to water immediately, which is exactly what your dry fly will do if you use this on it.

Works well
Rebuilt transom and used this to thicken the resin. Works good.

Going back to Total boat brand
Total boat's is better. Mixes better. This acts almost hydrophobic.
