The product did not look anything like the picture. It did not have a handle or a knob to wind the hose. It's cheaply made. I'm keeping it only because I can use the hose to replace one in a an old reel that DOES look like the picture. The reel for the one I bought goes in the trash. Don't buy it!!

Compact drinking hose
This will be used in my motorhome so love the compact storage, a little pricey and if its not straight it kinks.

but I find it a great product and good value
Had the 25' hose for 11 years and used it camping regularly. VERY durable. When it finally wore out, I bought TWO more. Yes, it needs to be kink-free. Yes, it needs to be completely unrolled to use. But it is very convenient, flexible, and space saving. I can't address how it performs in yard applications or marine uses, but I find it a great product and good value! Highly recommend!

Leaky hose
Great product concept but it leaked right out of the box. I would not advise the purchase of this product as you will be disappointed.

It's not a fire hose.
It's not a fire hose or even a decent hose, for that matter. I got this to use when we visit marinas on our boat. Connecting and dragging around 50' hoses to the marina hose bibs is a real pain. The hoses take up a lot of room in the lazzarette and always seem to catch on something when you take them out. I thought this compact hose with a reel would answer my concerns. Wrong! Although the hose looks like a fire hose it doesn't have the strength or durability of one. It must be completely removed from the reel and the hose must be straight before applying any water pressure. It can't have any kinks or bends. After using just a few times, it started to develop leaks and cracks. It just isn't up to robust use. The reel is more durable than the hose. I dumped the reel and now use the hose as an extension behind some bushes in the yard where the leaking doesn't matter. My search for a great hose for the boat will continue.

Great product but handle with care
Can't beat the compactness and light weight but this hose must be handled with care to prevent puncture damage.

Total waste of money
This looked and sounded good. Retractable kink less hose. It's a total POS. Thing kinks at the slightest bend. It's near impossible to get back in the retractor without spending lots of effort and time. Ot takes forever to get the water put and the retractor jams all the time. Just get an old fashioned green cheap hose and a roller for it. Waste of money
