Whose main function is talking gets you 1 star, Trick Or Treat studios. The trick is on buyers in this case. What I hate is walking away feeling that that the company doesn't care about making a good product. They care about saying they made Talky Tina from TwilightZone and perhaps if collectors just keep her in the box it will work out for them?My bank account and I disagree. I could buy a 50 dollar talking doll that sounded better than this of the same size and material. She'd not be Talky Tina and that's the only difference. It sounds if they used a hand held tape recorder and stood too far away from the t.v when recording it off the old show. Really sounds crappy. I am going to try to upload a video later in the week that shows the sound but to give an example, I held her and made her talk 2 feet away from my husband and with music on at a low volume on the other side of the room, he could not hear what she was saying. Not he is not in the least hard of hearing. LOL.How I know I didn't get a dud is the volume is a bit louder on one phrase. One sounds great and the rest are slightly lower or louder than the others but still very low in general. If I hold her and don't have anything in in the background I can her her fine but fine or not it is still low volume. Just wow.Now let's move onto the make. The +s are the doll is very sturdy, made of good solid vinyl and her dress, velvet like and lace, is of a very good high quality material. Glad to see where the 300 went. HAHA. Anyway, the hair isn't the best, i.e I think it'll get ratty eventually if not taken excellent care of but I have ideas of how to deal. Point is for the price they could've atl east used a high quality doll hair but nope. Also got bald stops so don't take down the ponytails. I wasn't planning to but again just thought for 300 could get a good full head of rooted hair all the way. Its rooted, just got those patches the cheaper dolls skimp on when the hair is up. But see thing is this doll wasn't cheaper. LOL. Just again feeling very insulted like they didn't care cause they didn't. Their intention is not to make a good quality usable product is my point and that is sad as I assume that's what we all want to pay for.Her shoes do remove but it is difficult to replace them so I'd not just fyi.She doesn't pose well either. Her arms and legs and head CAN theoretically move but they don't well. I can slightly recline her instead of fully sitting her down. the legs stop half way sitting and I am afraid to push it and break her. I mean I could assuming they made a 300 dollar doll to be posed if she can move but with this, the other corners they've cut and obvious lack of thought and care or checking over their own work involved or rather not involved I am not taking chances.FYI We put a plastic knife in her hand and she's adorable. She made friends with SLappy, and she has let Chucky know that she isn't taking crap from him. LOL. She and Slappy get on better. LOL. We decided to make wall art from the box to at least get a bit more bang for our 300.NOW let's get to the *free* shipping which I paid for in rage and tears. LOL They used UPS which I have always hated for many reasons. In this situation they won't leave the package as USPS would put it in our mail locker and Trick Or Treat Studios did not give any shipping option choice that I saw so they force us to use the worst. Call it a foreshadowing if you will. At 12 in the afternoon on the day Tina arrived, Yesterday, a friend came over and rang the bell as people do...I let her in and she handed me a UPS slip from the door saying they'd tried to deliver my package.I, not wanting to sign to leave a 300 dollar package outside stayed home from work on the day Tina was to arrive. I.E a loss of money. I was enraged. They didn't ring the bell and I did not hear them knock and trust me I was listening obviously. Long story as short as possible I spent 3 hours and 4 phone calls with UPS because one wasn't enough due to them not being able to function...Told them what I just told you, about 7 different times on those 3 calls and FINALLY got someone to bring Tina back that day so I did not have to miss another day of work or risk her being stolen. It was the local manager, and he was very kind. I asked him why they don't use the bell, etc. and he told me he talked to the delivery guy and the guy flat out dude flat out admitted to one single solitary hard knock on the door before he decided I wasn't home and left the note on the door. LOL. I live with loud neighbors over me in an apartment so one bang I'm gonna hear or notice? NO. Who comes to your place and ignoring the doorbell knocks one time. Not one series of knock knock knock knock but no one single solitary knock. I am impressed dude actually admitted to that. LOL. Go UPS. NOT. At least the company and their choice of shipping match in lack of care they bother to put into what they do...Literally as little as they can.I was leery of buying from them wen I saw reviews on their life sized gremlin puppets that won't even stand up for also a large dollar amount but when I saw Tina I just had to...I mean it never occurred to me you'd hardly be able to hear her...But now when she says anything but "I love you very much," I know exactly who she's talking to. LOL.She is sitting here with me as I write this, so in spite of the issues she is still very loved and it isn't her fault. There is another company charging more for a version of this doll that I did not think was accurate, so maybe go for that and you can at least hear her. I just looked it up and it's Bif Bang Pow that made the other one. I can't speak for it, but in general I have heard better on their products in general.

My wife bought this for me for my birthday. It was quite bigger than I thought. Being who I am it's still in the box and can't review the actual talking part. The box did come with a couple dents in it and I had to push some packaging netting away from her face...very carefully. All in all a great purchase if you like the twilight zone but maybe not the best if you want mint condition.

This item arrived as a present for my wife, and she is a big fan. This came on time and was in perfect condition, and she loves the doll. She slept with it in our bed for the first week. CREEPY.

A bit pricey, but this is an absolute necessity for any avid Twilight Zone fan. The audio quality is very good, and the black and white styling of the doll makes this all the more worth it. Contrary to what the package says, batteries ARE included, so if you’re gifting this (like I am), just take the doll out of the box and pull the plastic tab out of its back to make sure she’s ready to talk the moment the gifted open the box.

I LOVE HER! While it's not super loud, you can hear her just fine, and the voice is exactly the same taken from theepisode.

The product was amazing. The package came in a great time frame and her box and the doll itself was in great condition!

She's super cute and everything I expected her to be.
