SeachemSafe 250gm

As per the guidelines on the product packaging added less than 1/4th tea spoon to my 140 ltr fresh water aquarium tank so as to reduce the nitrate/nitrite and to balance the ammonia.This was done after water change and within few hours instead of the water settling the same turned out to be yellowish light brown in colour.I had to replace 50% water in my tank and after two days the tank water started getting clearer. had to wash my filter and add stability-good bacteria.fortunately none of the fish died.

I never had issues with Seachem Prime, it worked well, and didn't notice any smell at all. But with Safe, you're basically getting the same product, but it smells really bad. I have to double bag it and still you can smell a hint of this thing if you're in a room with it. But the product is effective, and a big money save compare to Prime. I would recommend this, but keep this in a spot where you won't be bother by the smell of it.

Such good value for money..bit difficult to does with a small system but the fact you can overdose by upto 5 times sorts that problem out..maybe Seachem prime is better for small systems..but either way its great value for money..

Excelente para eliminar cloro de agua de la llave, a los 5 minutos no se percibe el olor pero suelo dejarlo 20 minutos. Tiene un olor fuerte, pero si no se retira todo el sello del contenedor y se cierra bien no se percibe.

Works well

I have been using Seachem Safe for over 4 months now. I have a 250 gallon freshwater planted tank and Prime was a very costly affair for me. Switched to Safe and not a single dead fish. Its safe on Shrimps as well. Just 1/4 tea spoon of seachem safe power for my entire 250gallon tank. Awesome Product.
