This os more a personal preference, but I was hoping to see the other sisters with someone special for themselves. I know they all love Futaro, but it would have been nice to see them have someone after a time skip. Sure, they were improving on themselves at the time, but it doesn't sit well with me that they were all pining for someone who was already settled on by this point. Just saying. With that said, loved the story. Great read.

Best girl didn't win.

A really nice conclusion to a great series. I will miss the quints and this is a series I’ll probably revisit from time to time. It has been a brilliant journey.

I will try to refrain from spoiling anything in the review but I would like to say that I loved this ending. To preface everything I am about to say, my pick of the best girl was not the winner and I am still very happy. The more I think about it this is probably one of the best, if not the best way for the series to end. I heard a lot of things about the later book of the series and how they weren't written as well but I find that to be a lie. The beginning was amazing and so was the end. They are just different and I feel that it was a natural progression. I would highly recommend this series to anyone willing to read a rom-com.

Great story, but I think the manga was misprined the dialogue was cut off on some pages and when lined up with the other volumes. The spine is straight but the page are at a slant even if the spine is lined up. I got a replacement but it had the same problem. Were all printed like that?

And a great wedding, too. The girls sure look grand. Futaro, you sir, are one hell of a lucky fellow. You couldn't have landed a better bride (nor bridesmaids), no matter what happened. Such a happy ending. Get out the tissues. I bet there's not a dry eye in the house. As with many great manga like this, I feel like I'm saying good bye to dear old friends. What a wonderful tale. Well done, Yotsuba, well done. You were worthy after all. I can't state strongly enough just how good this series is. If you love rom-coms and school life, you will fall in love with this manga. And to all of you who continue to suffer through my reviews, well, tough donuts to you! You ain't seen nothing yet! Put that in your Funk & Wagnalls!

I watched both seasons of the anime and instantly liked the premise of the story so I got the manga from volume 8 onwards to fill in any gaps the anime left out in season 2 and recap events. From the first season, I had my thoughts on which quintuplet was the bride and one of my 2 choices were correct. I can give Futaro a run for his money with the quintuplet game. All jokes aside, the five sisters character development throughout the series was well thought out and didn't feel like a convenience. Some male protagonists in the romantic comedy and 'multiple love interest' genre tend to be bland and uninteresting but Futaro is actually a competent guy with actual goals and motivations. He is not simply getting everything handed to him with silly plot devices. He makes a decision (studying and aiming for excellence) follows through (realising which sister he truly loves and his plans after high school) and has a satisfying ending with one of the quintuplets several years later. Solid writing and artwork from Negi Haruba. Overall, a great series.

Now when I went into this book, I felt as if if was going to come out feeling rushed, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised. The book itself was really good, a really nice read and a great conclusion to the story in my opinion. I do wish there was more of what happened after the end, but I am happy to settle with this!
