Amazing book!

Perfect for a beginner grandson's first book!

Granddaughter is moving from clarinet to trumpet. We ordered this playbook from Amazon because it seemed like a good basic book for her. When she saw this book and paged through it, she was excited that it is very similar to her clarinet playbook she uses in music class, even some of the same songs.

great purchase. Very easy to follow

This was required for my kid to participate in trumpet class at school. The reality is the kids don’t actually have to read it to play the instrument.

Great warm ups and exercises! fingering chart was a nice refresher. Was sad to see o’canada in there staining the page but that’s ok, I defaced every part of that page except the notes themselves and the clefts they are on then skipped the page. Nice little progress tracking section in the back of the book. Not what I was expecting because I wasn’t paying attention when I bought it, not for solo trumpeters, it’s meant for a trumpeter in a classical band. But that’s ok, cause it’s perfect for the basics, refreshing my mind nicely and giving me lots of exercises for general practice and for the strengthening of the lips. I even managed some of the really hard low notes cause of this book :)
