Recommended By Oral Motor Therapist
My LO (now 14 mo) had tongue, cheek, and upper lip ties at birth and had revisions at 2.5 mo. During his follow up oral motor therapy and PT, his therapist recommended a few cups for us to help ensure he continued proper oral development. When we transitioned to table food, we got both this and an open, weighted cup. LO did much better with this any other we've tried, even the Munchkin 360 (which side notes his therapist was vehemently opposed to). This cleans and reassembles easily. The only potential downside is that it WILL leak when it tips over but does come with a travel cover.

Great cup for low tone babies! Perfect transitional sippy cup!
This is the first cup our toddler will actually drink from! We love that it will transition him to a 360 cup or an open cup! He has low muscle tone and we’ve tried over 20 sippy cups. We are so thankful this one works! It can spill if it’s put on its side, so be aware. Will definitely purchase more!

Great for cleft babies!!!
Amazing for cleft palate toddlers! We went straight to this after palate surgery and I absolutely love them! No suction required! Nobody else makes them. They’re leak proof if you put the lid on right.

Great for kids with Cleft lip/palate
PLEASE DON’T STOP MAKING THIS CUP! I am a nanny for a baby with a cleft palate. With that said she isn’t able to get that suction like everyone else, so drinking from a bottle or sippy cup is not possible. Dr browns makes a special piece to put in the nipple of their bottles that fills it up and allows for it to drip in the babies mouth with very little sucking. When they have this palate fixed they have to be off the bottles and pacifiers, however once you take them off the bottle they have to drink from an open cup (again because they aren’t able to get that suction) which is much harder when they are used to a drip. She is getting ready for her surgery to fix her palate and teaching her to drink from a cup is not easy. She feels like she is drowning and ends up choking herself and then gives up because she is scared. I’m not sure why dr browns only makes the bottles and not a sippy cup knowing all about the cleft lip/palate but fortunately I saw another mom who posted a review on this cup saying it was great for her daughter with a cleft so we gave it a shot. She’s still struggling a little, but because this cup does leak a little she is able to get her fluids and not feel like she is drowning. Also another problem we have found with other sippy cups is that after her surgery she won’t be able to have a sippy cup that goes in her mouth because it could hurt her until she is healed so we are so thankful to have found this cup and can go into this next step with her knowing she can get fluids safely. Please continue making this cup as it has been very hard to find a cup that works and consider advertising great cup for children with clefts etc to make it easier for parents who are already so worried about the road ahead.

Great for cleft palate kiddos
These were the only sippy cups that my daughter could drink from right after her cleft palate was closed. They don’t require any suction and I hate that Avent discontinued them. They aren’t completely leak proof but we’ve generally not had too many issues with them.

Awful. Just awful concept.
The slightest touch to these and liquid comes out. They are so sensitive, it's terrible. Drops on the floor, spills. Hold it and their body part depresses on it in the slightest way, leaks. Holds cup wrong and trys to drink from the top lip instead of normal, water comes rushing out. It's really terrible. I have not compared to the Munchkin 360 cups.

Highly recommend for cleft lip and palate babies
These cups were a lifesaver for my cleft lip and palate baby. They helped so much after her procedures, and took a lot of weight off our shoulders . they aren’t always available, so if you’re able to grab these stock up!!!
