Broke after less than 20 uses
This tool worked great until it broke before I had even used it for 20 connections. Is there a warranty? The main piece of metal that pulls the torque on the spreader broke, obviously made of inferior material.

easy to use
this product is perfect for me. Tried it once on a elbow fitting before using for real just to make sure it worked like it was supposed to and it was great. Have only had it for 1 month so I don't know about durability yet, but the rest works just like advertised. I thought the price was a lot better than paying $400 for an automatic expander

Broke after 7 connections were made
Welp, poor steal from you-know-where and it broke after I completed only 7 connections. Got to looking at the broken part and it was poor steal with lots of pits and holes in it. Too much carbon and not enough Iron. I'm making a replacement part for it. Don't have time, but no one around has the tool I need to finish the project. If I order a different tool on Amazon, the material may still be crap. So I'm fixing this with real steel.

Worked well
The tool worked well for me. I made a dozen connections of ½” and ¾” fittings. It takes considerable effort to expand ¾” PEX. Twice the expansion sleeve slipped on the pipe slightly while rotating the ½” PEX during the expansion. Be sure to visually inspect the position of the expanded PEX to insure that the pipe is fully seated inside the expansion sleeve before making the connection. It took longer than expected for the PEX to shrink tight on the fitting. This tool may expand more than others. Hold the connection for a few minutes and wait 2 or more hours before putting the connection under pressure.

Must needed tool!
This expansion tool had the best price. The directions showed how easy it will be to use, and it will last a long time.

Works Wonderfully
Except for the 2 right handed gloves it came with this tool worked perfect. All my pex tubing was tight and without leaks 4 hours after letting everything settle. The color coded heads is a nice touch for quick visual when choosing the correct size. Job is done and satisfied.

Did the job, saved thousands
Had a premature slab leak due to failed copper plumbing installed by drunk plumber. Pex to the rescue. Rather than jackhammer into the concrete foundation I found a way to reroute the failed line through the attic. Using pex and this tool the repair was easy. A power expander would be nice but I only needed it for a few connections as I minimized the number of fittings with long runs. I don't know if I could expand 1 inch size as 3/4 inch was difficult. Not the tool's fault but 3/4 inch pex is fairly stiff to expand. But leverage against the floor got it done. This tool is as good as the more expensive brands so lucky to find it.
