Amazing for starting out your trading journey!! Iโm on page 82 currently and I have to say this is the best, most comprehensive charting techniques I have EVER read. Iโve read quite a lot online, free courses, forex forums etc about the patterns that are covered in this book. They provided me with no where near the level of detail and explanation as Steve Nison does. There are a ton of charts which are great and really helps seeing what Nison is describing. As I mentioned above I am only 82 pages in yet the amount of information I have learnt and been able to understand has compelled me to review. The price is a bit high, however, donโt let this put you off as the level of detail and analysis you can apply to your trading will be money well spent. Thank you Steve Nison for the time and effort you put into the book, you can really see how much has gone into it. Just brilliant :)

I just received this book today, and flipped thru the pages looking for all the issues mentioned in other reviews. I don't see any.....except the font is a little larger than usual for a text or training book. For me, this is not an issue at all. I looked on just about every page. The text in the story line is sharp and clear, and the text and graphics in the diagrams is especially sharp and clear. The publisher must have cranked the printer resolution to maximum on this book so I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about but will take a guess. 1. The book advertised and the one I received is the 2nd Edition, copyright 2001 and was published by NYIF which is New York Institute of Finance. Seems to be owned by Penguin, a large publisher. The book DJ has an orangish color as shown in the the Amazon Ad. 2. There was an earlier version- 1st Edition, 1991 published by Prentice Hall. This one has a black Dust Jacket. It appears that some of the reviews may be talking about the earlier edition. I don't have that book so cannot comment on it. 3. In this 2nd edition, every figure and chart I looked at has a figure number and a text description. My copy is the 26th printing. It is possible that on ONE earlier printing (i.e. 5th for example), there may have been a few blurry pages but not on my copy. 4. The book came wrapped in shrink wrap and was received in perfect condition. 5. Steve Nison also has another book called 'Beyond Candlesticks'. It has a Red dust jacket. In other reviews, I have seen people call it a second edition of the one I am reviewing. It is not. It is a different book. I have not read the book yet but will begin doing so tonight and then will update my review with my new thoughts.

Everything we need to know on Japanese candlesticks. Not only provides details on each pattern, but also examples and explanations on why those patterns tell us something. Very well written, with many references to Japanese sayings and anectodes. A pleasure to read, a bible to keep at hands.

Received the book but never expect that itโs not an original book but a photocopy book with such an expensive price.
