Is this grainy paper or like printer paper?

This is definitely more like printer paper. More flimsy even. I was concerned about the same thing, saw the other answers and ordered it. Perhaps they've changed the paper since the other answers were written, but it's definitely nothing more than plain white printer paper. I was really disappointed.

Yes paper is heavy enough to handle color pencils, markers and even some watercolor although papers gets warped a little.
