I used this for an under the cabinet light above a pass through counter top and it worked great. It is much brighter than the flourescent lights it replaced and is so small that it cannot be seen when adhered to the bottom of the top cabinets.You do need to plan on putting the power supply box somewhere so the low voltage wire can be run to the light strip. The power supply I bought is about 4x10x1 1/2 inches so it fit into the cabinet. It was easy to wire and operates well with a wall switch controlling the 110V power to the power supply box.Unlike other reviewers I had no problem peeling the cover off of the adhesive and it has stayed adhered to the cabinet. I did use a de-greaser on the cabinet to clean it before I adhered the lights to it.

I rarely leave reviews, but this product is just as advertised so wanted to give these guys credit for putting out a quality product.

Hello everyone! I originally had the light strip that had all those dots that were giving off the white light. I wanted one where you couldn’t see them because I thought it made it look terrible! I decided to try and find one that would have a straight line of light vs. all those little dots. I found this one and there were no reviews when I bought it so I said I am going to take this chance. I am 100% happy I took the chance because I love them! I took a picture a little closer to it and you can see all the little LEDs it has, but the further away you are it is completely hidden. I gave it 4 stars for easy to install because when you are removing the film to attach the strip, be very careful you do not remove the thing you use to attach the strip to the surface.**Please note that it will be pretty bright, but I like it because it can light up the whole room. In the last picture is the opposite side of the room (approximately 23 feet away from the light)**

I only ran these lights for 3 hours a day, and they stopped working after 3 weeks. This is obviously a fire hazard. They were bright and what I was looking for, but scary.I realized after I wrote this that I bought the power supply separately and it's possible it just failed and not the lights themselves. The manufacturer should supply the power supply with the lights to ensure everything works well together. They responded very quickly to make things right. Great customer service.***Update*** I've raised my rating from 1 star to 4 stars because the customer service was superb. They explained to me what power supply I need and why..."The rated power of this light strip is 8 watts per meter, and the measured power of 16.4ft is about 26W. Therefore, you should use a 24V power supply with an output of 30W or higher to allow the light strip to run normally without overloading the power supply and causing it to burn out." They also explained why they have the option to purchase without the power supply or to buy the kit. Apparently I missed the kit option. I'm giving these lights another try and I will update after a while to let you know my experience once I have the correct power supply to run these strips of lights.

Used these for a diy tube light and custom made pipe light. I tried non COB strip lighting and it spotted so bad despite the acrylic frosted tube as a diffuser. So bought the COB style and it’s perfect. Looks like a fully lit tube. Perfect, very satisfied with product. Should have taken picture after I finished remodel but whatever the lights are badass

I've installed quite a few of these before, so this isn't my first rodeo. I wanted the sleeker look of COB and this one had the added value of being IP grade waterproof, which I had assumed meant it'd be covered in a clear transparent cover (epoxy looking) like the one that LuxJet makes. Nope- it looks like the standard COB so I'm not exactly sure what I spent the extra money on, but I shrugged it off and thought oh well, it's here I'll just use it- Spent a long time installing it- I followed the directions exactly- I only cut along the dotted "cut" lines and used a 24 V DC adapter power source. Does not even light up. Might be a defective model, but in that case, poor quality control- how hard is it to make sure the connections are making contact and actually lights up before sending it out to customers? Feels like a giant waste of money and time, especially given that this company seems to be a bit pricier than others. I just thought because they've made these for a while, that that meant their product would be more reliable. I was wrong.

I was using the typical LED light strips but those show individual lit dots spaced out every inch or so which is a look I am not a fan of. these don't do that. sure if you're close enough you can see the individual LEDs but tucked in the picture hanging rail you can't see that at all.just amazingthis is thin, but this guy is even thinnerhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C149NXWBbut not plug and play
