I’m on CPAP and medications which dry my mouth out, and I had dry mouth even before the meds, so I have a super dry mouth with meds and CPAP. On top of that I’m getting a ton of cavities, and my dentist said they are growing unusually fast so she recommended this to me. They definitely work. I’m grateful to whoever developed this and to my dentist for recommending them. I wish they were a little cheaper so I felt like I could use them in the daytime as well. Or I do wish they lasted a little longer to make it all the way thru the night. I just feel like they could cost a little less to make them affordable for disabled and elderly. I’m writing this in hopes of helping others who may have given up on finding something that doesn’t dry them out more. Back in the 1970s Certs make a fruity breath freshener that was made with xylitol. It was discontinued at some point or at least I haven’t been able to find them anymore. I’ve often wished they would come back out bc xylitol is the only thing that has ever worked for me. Glad they’re making this. I hope they’re safe long term. I hear about so many people taking melatonin for sleep and doctors don’t tell you it’s unsafe and causes memory issues long term. So people do your own research on these things. Worked so well I gave some to my nephew to try out. They have a very mild minty flavor. The tablet does not show a bump under your cheek even though it feels like it. The brown side sticks to your gum line and has a little concave shape to fit comfortably. Switch where you put it or can cause irritation just from the pressure from your cheek. Only downside is that one doesn’t last all night. If I didn’t have dogs I would keep one on my nightstand to add.
