The Elgato Chat Link Cable Replacement works great, but only as a short term solution. If you’re using the cable on a regular basis everyday throughout the year then you’ll need to buy more than a few replacements because of it’s poor durability. I’ve had to buy three replacements since my first purchase in February - it’s now September. Over time (about three months or so) the cable will wear out and as a result the audio from your headset will cut in and out when using the chat link. Mind you, it takes a few months before that happens, and until then the cable is great and easy to use. If you don’t mind spending an extra $20 for a couple of back-up cables, then I think this product - which at the moment goes for about $10 - is a good buy. I just wish they lasted longer.
