Bought this for my father as an early Father's Day gift. He loved it. My father loves the shuttle missions but the Apollo 11 mission is one of his favorites because his father worked on the Lunar Module. He spent a good while flipping through these. We're waiting for him to get his new phone to try out the AR function. 10/10

I really enjoyed this flip book set. Each book is in a separate box. one side of a flip book has 3 scenes. I added it to my library as a "active animated book" . Really cool historical experience in a unique medium

My grandson put this game on his Christmas List! He loves learning about space. I will come back and leave an additional review when he gets to play the game a few times.

well, this is a tough review for me...First, the book is well done... fit n finish is excellent...the movie effect works good... but a bit dated in todays digital worldmight have wow effect for the very young...if it was 1960's, this would be impressive even for adults ;)The augmented reality view is much better, making the flip book not appealing...so I will give this 3.5 stars considering the price and wow factor in todays modern world...but in all fairness, its very well made and performs as required. But my review considers the macro view...

Apollo 11: The Animated Journey includes 6 animated sequences featuring the most important maneuvers of the first moon landing. By quickly flipping the pages with your thumb, they generate an illusion of movement, therefore the name "thumb cinema".The animations are based on the original concept art, created by NASA artists in 1966 to explain the main stages of the mission to the broader public. The Apollo 11 Animated Journey is very entertaining! I recommend it!

This is an old school idea, that has been modernized. The holographic printing makes it so depending on where you hold the book you get a different sequence. I have never seen anything like this before, it is fun and original.

This is worth for any Astro lover, well made and important events well covered. Flipping the books gives you a surreal experience and have flipped it more than a hundred time and still they are intact as in the pictures. Good quality flip books, AR on the pack is pretty well done too.

Geniales Daumenkino. Je nachdem wo man die Seiten festhält sieht man andere Szenen der Apollo 11 Mission. Die Kinder und natürlich auch wir Erwachsene waren beeindruckt. Raumfahrt Fans kommen hier definitiv auf ihre Kosten.
