This is adoreable but it is a lot bigger than what I expected. It comes with a plastic mat to put under the pen. You can add more dogs or what ever you want.

I got this for my son to have something quiet to do in his room during rest time. Both he and his sister enjoy it. It encourages imaginative play and they enjoy all the little dogs and other pieces. It is a sandbox, so I do expect a mess, but it's easy enough to clean up and worth it for the enjoyment this toy brings. The box in this version is plastic, but it seems fairly sturdy, so as of right now I'm not concerned that it will fall apart quickly. I think it's a little overpriced, but still a nice toy to have.

Pros:- Both my kids (3 and 4) love them. Keeps them entertained for quite some time- Good for creative pretend play and practicing fine motor skills- If you are arty you can easily make some small extra items from clay and add them to the box.(My child requested some doggy poop 💩 and I made some from clay and she loves scooping it up with the little shovel provided.)- If you have some little things laying around that you don’t really have a home or purpose for add them to the box if they fit the theme.(I added some tiny rocks that now get scooped around and sorted out from the poop. Haha!)Cons:- It’s a mess! Prepare to sweep every time after they play. My 4 year old really tries hard but sands still gets out. My 3 year old leaves a huge mess every time - see picture.All in all a great toy but it may not be for every parent since it does require constant clean up.

My granddaughter loved it! Her mother wasn't to happy because it's a little messy! Lol

Fun toy! Lots of fun using the small tools to shape and smooth out the sand for the puppies. The figures are well made and very cute. The feeding and water bowls are a favorite. A small note for us neat freaks: just be sure you're setting up somewhere where a little sand isn't going to be a bother.

I bought this for a friend. She keeps it in her office to de-stress. Lots of fun!

This is such a fantastic idea for a toy. My toddler loves dogs and this keeps her entertained and is a good sensory toy.

I love these sandboxes. They are perfect for the 3-4 yr age range in terms of understanding how to keep their mess inside the box and also getting more involved with their imaginative play but still needing sensory input.
