Awesome product-we'll send as gifts in the future - great display and Great for relaxation
After all this time I am very comfortable writing this reviewAWESOME PRODUCT - buy it! :-)Now - pay attention for first time users of a submersible pump and don't complain to the vendor / manufacturer! If you've never had a submersible pump in your life before the first thing you need to understand is that you're dealing with water - and it's alive - YES ALIVE! Water will crack, tear down, dissolve and move mountains. Therefore - you need to clean the unit every 6 months if you use distilled water (water gets "stuff" from the air around iot and every 3 months if you use tap water. My wife has this in her office running 12+ hours a day - WATCH IT and make sure there's always water in it to fully submerge the pump and NEVER run the pump dry - the lights you can purchase multiple colors from Amazon and once you kill the pump - same - for a few dollars you can get a replacement pump - but this original pump has been running for years now - 5 and sometimes 6 days a weekIf you live in Texas you MUST replenish the water daily - it's a relatively large water surface and it will evaporate - again if you never dealt with open water and / or submersible pumps before - pay attention - you have a little piece of nature in your home - it's like a tiny little pond - and bodies of water evaporate - and water pumps are engineered to pump water not airAlso make sure to inspect and clean the pump yearly - even with distilled water use dust will collect from the surrounding area (unless you're in a data center and then I would ask what genius allowed you to place a large bowl of water in the data center - lol)

Hello Zen
The media could not be loaded. With the 2024 elections looming I'm creating as much zen in my life as possible. It's a mesmerizing water feature and it's almost perfect. It's wider than I expected. That forced me to rethink its placement, but to be honest, it's better! The spinning ball does require a nudge to start but it works fine. It feels like real stone to me but it's opaque. With the light below it really should be clear. I'm going to experiment with a quartz crystal ball. 🔮 On the video you'll see I've put all the stones that came with it on one side. I'll be adding more crystals, minerals and other stones. Then it'll be ah ah all riiight. Zen!

ok so here goes... i read the bad and the good reviews and ordered anyway. they are all honest by my experience. i was really looking forward to this, a bit disappointed, and then found it acceptable. i'll start with the bad and end on the positive.* the tubing that runs from pump to top of fountain is TOO SHORT. i have hands the size of a 10 yr old but fingers couldn't fit into side to attach suction-cupped motor to bottom and have attached to fountain spout at the same time because hose too short and too slim an opening on the side. be prepared to settle it in with chopsticks, bamboo skewers, butter knife, eyeglass screwdriver or the like.* yes, the rocks were dirty as in needed to be cleaned of rock dustings-not dirt. And, i can't speak on others' experience, but i got a dozen of them and they were of fair size.* fountain spout was crooked, had small bit of styrofoam (?) glued underneath it which might be cause but that also may be what helps it turn ball, idk. and once going, the crookedness does not show (nor does that styrofoam bit).* on that point of crookedness, the water only trickles down the one side of the top even when fountain is completely filled, so maybe it is too crooked. i place the rocks to get the water to go all the way around the other layers.* the resin material is decent quality, not flimsy at all.* the ball on top is glass!* sometimes the ball doesn't want to exactly spin, but if you give it a little push, it goes non-stop! the bubbles inside the ball are reminiscent of glitter once it spins. pretty.* the motor will only be noisy until you use enough water, keep adding and the sound will go away completely and you can hear just the water. lovely!* the white part of the structure is not fully opaque, so these parts will light and change colors with the ball. that was a pleasant surprise.I am glad i got it, like it, worth the hassle for me, but i wouldn't get it to give as a gift as it is.'hope this helps.

Lighting on Fountain Adds Touch of Elegance
I’d been looking for a nicer, large tabletop style fountain for ages-didn’t want the wee, horrid plasticy resin ones. I loved that it was slate (and is already getting a bit of a patina), lighting was an unlooked for option and was intrigued by the spinning ball action. Gosh, was I more than pleasantly pleased! It sits on a low table surrounded by ferns on the perimeter of the gazebo; it adds such a lovely touch, burbles quietly with the ball on top, bit more without. Even in daylight the lit layers look so pretty with the sun shining through and at night it gives an elegant ambiance. Aesthetics aside: it’s not messy, splashy; the spinning ball issue-I put 5 of the stones around the top, close to the cup the ball sits in to add more water pressure lift, it spins vertically, not horizontally so if it needs a bit of a push do it from the top-zero problems with the spinning. Other issue of no on/off switch is simply solved by plugging it into a strip outlet with an on/off switch. Pump is quiet as well but functions fine. All in all the fountain is nice, well made piece that is pleasing visually, aurally and at an appropriate price point.
