As with a lot of other reviews, I logged about 1-2 minutes of actual run time prior to failure. First, it quit turning, then the ballast diaphragm wouldn’t extend. This is such a cool toy though! I had a submarine when I was a kid and it used a propeller to suck it down under water, this uses actual water and air to do it! Back to the drawing board, you almost got it!

Great fun for 6 year old grandson. Had to buy one for myself! You can hear the ballast blow before submerging. For a large amount of water like a swimming pool, stick the tip of the antenna in the water to carry the signal. Very maneuverable.

This works, but it’s a bear to “drive.” Despite experience with rc gear from high end trucks to airplanes and drones, this thing is hard to manipulate. It’s overly sensitive and finding bouyancy is a nightmare. Steering is slow and cumbersome. While it does basically do what it’s supposed to do, it was a five minute novelty for everyone in my family, from 12-47 years. It’s not worth the money whatsoever, in our collective option.

I gifted this to my friend for her to use in her 40 gallon fish tank! She loved it and put it to use right away, terrorizing her fish with it!! I don’t recommend terrorizing your fish but it’s good to remind your fish of their surroundings

It worked for about 3 minutes after the initial charge. Now it won’t charge at all.

Very cool toy and can be educational. Smaller than expected but works better than expected. My daughter loves it so automatic 5 stars. The control placement could be better but it doesn't ruin the fun. I'm pretty sure it could be sold cheaper without sacrificing quality but guess you can always for it to go on sale.

I use it to annoy my Gar. Worked great before it was bit on the propeller section. Just dont try using it anywhere with a current.
