I've been using Phillips' Milk of Magnesia Wild Cherry for a while now and it has become my go-to for occasional constipation relief. The wild cherry flavor makes it so much more pleasant to take compared to the original unflavored version — it's actually tolerable, which is saying a lot for a laxative. What I appreciate most is how gentle it is on my system; there's no cramping or harsh urgency, just reliable overnight relief that works within a few hours. It's stimulant-free, which gives me peace of mind about using it when I need it without worrying about dependency. Pretty backed up for about 5 days due to the pain medication that I take. Took 30 ml of this stuff plus a full glass of water and was cleared out about 5 hours later. I did have a wave of very painful cramping for a few seconds as a warning to get to my bathroom, but I was completely refreshed and pain-free afterwards. DO NOT take this stuff if you plan to leave your home. You get a huge bottle for the price, decent taste, works well, worth the money.

Cherry flavor has improved taste over regular product. Be sure to drink 8 oz. water or more with dose for effectiveness. Using split dose with 8 oz water with each dose increases water absorption into colon. Works almost too well but no side effects.

Always arrives with no cracks or dents. And keeps me consistent.

The liquid form is easy to take and simple to measure. The taste is mild, and it’s convenient to keep on hand. It worked well for me and I didn’t have any problems using it. Overall, this is a practical option if you prefer a liquid format.

Works great for a “blow out!” Stick to regular stool softeners for when you’re just running a bit slow but if nothing else is working, this will definitely make you go!

Phillips' Milk of Magnesia liquid laxative is one of my essential products for managing my constipation when my daily constipation regimen of Linzess and 2x/day Miralax is not effective or effective enough. The taste and texture of this product are as palatable as possible. I have had terrible responses to stimulant laxatives (using bisacodyl for colonoscopy prep landed me in the ER in excruciating pain due to colitis triggered by the bisacodyl), so I will only use non-stimulant laxatives. This product is my favorite osmotic laxative because it is effective yet gentle. It doesn't cause me massive or explosive diarrhea, yet it unclogs and clears out the constipation, which is such a welcome relief. If you want less effect, you can use a lower or half dose, which I sometimes do. This is a high-quality, effective and affordable product that does what it claims to do-unclog constipated poo!
