Should I use a TDS meter to test the water quality?

A TDS meter identifies dangerous impurities only if they are electrolytes. It detects dissolved solids such as salts and minerals. Disinfection chemicals, such as chlorine and chloramine are non-electrolytes and a TDS tester cannot notice them.

The TDS value of my water has increased

Aqua Earth shower filters release beneficial vitamins and minerals into the water which may increase the TDS value of the water.

How do I know when the filter needs to be replaced?

Replace the filter every 6 months or after 10,000-12,000 gallons of use. Indicators include reduced water flow, strange odors, or the return of hard water deposits.

How effective is this filter at removing chlorine and harmful minerals?

The filter is highly effective, with 99% removal of chlorine, heavy metals, fluoride, and other harmful chemicals. It provides you with clean, purified water, whether you’re using municipal or well water.

Will this work with my existing shower head?

The shower filter uses standard ½” connections, to ensure maximum compatibility with all standard shower heads.
