great clay hope my tips below help!
I have been using this clay to craft miniatures and other types of sculptures. This clay when cured properly is very flexible without cracking and is great for many different uses. My clay arrived fast and was in great condition not old or dry. TIPS FOR THOSE WITH ISSUES For those state clay is hard to knead: Clay can be more difficult to work with in colder weather. The colder the harder the clay will get & the warmer it is the easier it is to work with. You can warm it in your hand, a cup of hot water (not boiled) or place it on a heating pad so it will soften up. If clay is dry: mix it with translucent liquid sculpey and if you dont have any of that a little bit of baby oil will work just do not use to much as it will break down the clay. I also use oil to smooth my sculptures and remove finger prints. Clay cracks after baking: if your clay is not flexible and easily breaks after baking you are not curing it properly. Your clay should be baked at 275F your oven may be set on this temperature but oven thermometers read incorrectly in a lot of cases. Buy a over thermometer to get a more accurate reading on your temp. Your clay should be baked at least an hour or more depending on how thick it is. It can be baked multiple times at this temperature and will not burn. I know the package states 30 minutes but I have been working with this clay for years the longer it is baked (at the correct temp) the stronger it will be. Your clay no matter how thin when cured correctly should bend without breaking (unless a lot of force is used on thicker pieces) Test baking once you have got the temperature on your oven correct: Roll out your clay and cut 6 pieces of 1 inch long by 1/2 inch wide slices. They should be as thick as a nickle. Number them 1-6 and then stick them all in the oven at the same time, set your timer for an hour. Remove one from the oven every 10 minutes. so you will have 1 piece baked for 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes etc... when you have baked the last piece for an hour let them cool off. Then do a bend test with each one. Like what will happen those baked for 10-30 minutes will break when bending and those baked longer wont. This will allow you to see if your oven is getting hot enough. I have attached some pictures of my correctly cured clay being bent. This is how you will know it is cooked correctly. When you are working with your sculptures you can put test clay strips in with it and take them out & do a bend test that way you will be able to gauge if your project is also being baked correctly. Hope these tips help!

Good start
Good clay for beginners too! It’s my first polymer clay and it gorgeous. Just give it a little time in your warm hands and it’ll come softer!

First time using oven, baked clay, and wow
I saw a lady on Facebook do thumb page opener for gifts for the readers in your life so I ran with it I love this clay I have never used over baked clay before and my first batch burned bc I was second guessing the instructions because it was so soft still the second batch though I trusted the process and it still came out kinda soft but it hardened when it was cooling off for the first time for me using the clay I had a template that I needed to do and I drew it out and instead of trying to re-create it over and over and over just by look, I ended up stamping it kind of to the paper. It was pencil, so it was easy for me the designed to be transferred after first handling the clay I didn’t have issues it hardening. It was really easy to work with it over and over and over again after my second batch. I stopped and did not come back to the clay for a good while I put it in a plastic bag because I don’t know if I’m supposed to or not lol there were times when I used like a dab of a damp wash rag for my finger too slick some sides one of the people I’m giving these two has a baby and we don’t need the baby getting cut I am getting more soon

Great clay
This is one of the best clays I have ever used. It is versatile and easy to use. Once baked it's durable, it does not dry out and you can mold it into almost anything you can think of.

Good for the price!
The polymer clay arrived somewhat hard/stiff and was difficult to reshape without it crumbling. The texture seemed off than usual, but still somewhat worked for what I was trying to achieve.

Newer orders excellent
UPDATE REVIEW So I have bought this same listing two more times since the original review. It’s still in the old packaging however the last two times it was much softer than the first time. So they appear to be sending out fresher stock now which is great! I included the original review for posterity. ORIGINAL REVIEW Firstly, despite the picture being of the newer packaging, this package was the old packaging. I know Premo is harder out of the packaging but this block seems older as it’s incredibly hard to condition by hand and cracks even after conditioned. It’s still workable but it takes a lot of effort.
