A remarkable story, honestly and engagingly told.He brings expedition life into vivid focus and effortlessly captures the elation and heartache of such a strenuous and demanding climb – a feat made all the more poignant because of his youth and recently mended broken back.I have only seen his work on TV before, but this proves he can write as well as he can present.

so this was the start of bears adventures. long may he continue. Do feel rather sorry for his poor long suffering wife though
