(2500.1d) 1050 at 4 ohms-1600 at 2 ohm and 2500 at 1 ohm, all at 12.5 volts! nice man very nice!! i guess i caught him at the right time ot get one. i cant find that model number anywhere on the net but i have one!! its not the old one it is the xtr like the one shown. he said it was a newer model. its not on orions website also. ( its never updated anyhow) i have some xtr pro subs from orion and you only see the regular xtr now. not the pro. but anyhow. its a nice amp. buy it. sound is good and clean . the bass nob is NOT a bass knob, its a remote gain control.even better! adjustable phase for subs not a 0-180 switch bass boost works like it should.. i like that its rated at 12.5 volt and it comes with a birth sheet . mine is under the specs on the box but trust me . when u have 1550 watts at 12 volts as opposed to at 14.4, at 2 ohms. you arent complaining . most amps barely do rated at 14.4 much less being real wattage.. end result is i like it .. id buy it again if i needed too. Make sure the REM output is more than adequate when wiring this. I was using 5 vlts and was running hot and cutting on and off before i replaced it. Works fine now til i blew my old sub. Make sure to turn down gain/bass lv before power. Highly recommended. More than enough power for a single sub aplication or dual lower rms subs. Update: i had this for about 10 months now and its still working outstanding. Original subs are the sundown u2 d4 and replaced it with the d2 so i can wire at 1omhs. What a difference!! I thought it was loud before but its just rediculous now. Not even turn half way up and my car just shakes when the booms hits. Make sure to replace battery and use 0 gage on your wiring. It will push your sub woofers to close to the recommended power of around 800 W per sub. My Orion 1500 has a birth sheet of 1647 watts. I am a believer of not over supplying subs with unneeded wattage. It’s really going to come down to the box. But this amp will be able to drive home a lot of power to those subs. I have a ZV5 sundown 12 wired to 1 ohms. It is rated at 2000 W and this amplifier shakes my damn truck to pieces. I definitely wouldn’t go any higher with The 2500 amplifier in the EXTR serious. That would be just way too much. **Q: I see one review mentioned overheating, has anyone else experienced any overheating issues?** A: Yes mine does ( it’s in the trunk) putting out pure power so expect it to. Get a $30 cooling fan and sit it alil back from the amp to create cooling but if u put the fan right up on the amp it does not create cooling. This amp puts out way more than 1500 Watts . Everyone has a different birth sheet so mine put out 1725 Watts so it’s a solid good price amp don’t think twice and oh it’s 12v rated so if u do not have altinator ur getting pure power with this as opposed to getting 1500 watts at 14v and when bass hits your colts drop so does your wattage **Q: Will this amp power 3 12 orion** A: Which Orion's.
