TOAZOE785PL Quick Release Plate for Manfrotto Modo 785B, 785SHB/ DIGI 718B and 718SHB Models

I misplaced my other one and this was just what I needed.

I lost the original camera attachment so my tripod was useless. I was thrilled that Amazon had a replacement since the manufacturer told me that they no longer made them.

This is a decent mounting plate for use with your Manfrotto tripod. I have a Manfotto MKC3-H01M compact tripod. It replaced the 785PL model. I use a Canon EOS T3 Rebel with many different lenses and attachments. Plus I use the "Gimars" iPad mounting bracket for my iPad or other tablet.But back to the Toazoe Quick Release Plate...Is it perfect? nope. But is it good enough? Yep. And for less than 8 bucks (at the time I bought it), it's a good deal.First - the good.* It looks just like the original. And fits like the original (almost).* It's inexpensive. When purchased, it was 8 bucks. Prime members - free shipping. It's half the price of an "original" Manfotto quick release plate.* The screw fits in any item (so far) that is for the 1/4 inch screw. This is a mostly standard size for most cameras.* There is a soft-touch material pad on the top side, a no-slip type of material that holds the device solid and cushions the camera or other type of device.The not-so-good...* As has been mentioned in other reviews, the mounting plate is not a perfect fit. It is maybe a half a millimeter too narrow so that it's not a perfect snug fit. This could allow your camera or other device mounted in the tripod to shake a bit. But it's not so loose that the camera will wiggle freely. Somebody or something would need to be nudging or touching the camera or whatever.* Also, the screw used to mount the plate to the camera or other device is not as solid in the plate as the manufacturer original. The size of the screw head (not the threads) is not as big as the opening and so it feels wobbly and cheap. But once you snug it up against the camera body, it's fine.* On the original plate, there is a metal washer at the screw head, but not on the Toazoe version.Bottom line - could it be better? Sure thing. But it's about as good as the original in use and it's half the cost.

I have a Manfrotto MKC3-H02 and needed a replacement plate. The plate seems to use good quality materials but it does not fit well on the tripod mount. As others have mentioned there's quite a bit of play when mounting the QR plate to the tripod head (small gap between plate and front of mount). I've sort of resolved this issue by adding a shim/padded cushion that fills in the gap and prevents the plate from moving.

I'm not sure what others are talking about but, on my Manfrotto MKC3-H01M, this fits perfectly. There is no gap, no wiggle, no movement whatsoever. I was wary after reading reviews of it being a little too small and causing a little movement, but I don't see it. Completely worth the price.
