- Suttons Beetroot Seeds - Boltardy are recommended for early sowing. They are easy to grow in containers, the greenhouse or in beds and borders and are hardy from -6 to -10 degrees Celsius. Thin seedlings to roughly 10cm apart to grow large roots.
