extremely strong. Your plates will not go anywhere. They are kind of hard to snap tight and open, but that's just because of how strong of a hold they have. highly recommend. excellent quality too

Feels very high quality, solid and secure. My only gripe is that for some reason, it takes A LOT of effort to release the clamp. Like so much its concerning.I've opted to return these and maybe come back to them once im stronger, maybe im just weak.

I originally bought some of those squeezable clip things and they were not very good. These are awesome! Easy to take on and off and look like they're extremely durable and very well made.
