For stability, is this charger more secure when charging than a flat one… seems it might be easy to knock one off the flat charger stand?

No it is not. It can come off the 'hot spot' for charging if bumped. Look at Amazon's offered MagSafe charger, it's is small, very portable and it snaps on to your phone magnetically. Very easy to start it charging. The Basic 10W Qi, gets my iPhone 11 mini too hot to touch, so obviously it should not be used due to the damage to the phone that can occur.

Is this Samsung s23 ultra compatible because the s23 ultra can be charged wirelessly?

Not sure about Samsung. I use it for Apple. Wouldn’t know why not though.

Does it fit with my IPhone 7?

Yes... works great.... sometimes my charging port doesn't seem to connect... this solves that issue
