Are the plastic components made from abs? i am curious about using this for air circulation for an acetone vapor bath for 3d printed parts

I don't know what kind of plastic it is made of but the acetone does not seem to melt it. Tried a rag and some acetone on the housing and the blade, no plastic came off on the rag. Can't say the same for the wires, they did somewhat dissolve with the acetone. And the way the air flows, it will go over the wires which are slightly exposed in the wire channel.

will this work for replacing a .11 amp fan?

If it is the same physical size, and the CFM requirement of your device is met, then yes. Air flow would be the critical factor. Since it draws less current than your original, you should have no problems. This assumes you are driving it with 12V.

Could these be mounted on GPU?

im guessing so. i used one on a gpu (tempurarly)

Can this be wired directly to a 12v power supply?

Yes, I use a 12v wet acid battery(E- scooter battery) and it work as it should.

Un peu bruyant

Petits, costauds mais bruyants. Je ne sais pas d'où viennent les 26 dB mesurés. Pas possible ! (26 dB c'est pratiquement le silence et ce n'est pas le cas)

Excellent airflow for a compact 3D printer fan

I installed one of these 40 × 10 mm fans on my 3D printer, and it was a great fit. The airflow is surprisingly strong for such a compact fan and provides effective hotend cooling. Using the printer’s fan-speed control, I was able to find an excellent balance between cooling performance and noise. Overall, a very effective and practical upgrade.
