Great movie to help teach Bible

It’s not EXACTLY what happened in the Bible, but it’s kinda close, well acted and scripted. And a great bargain.

This movie, The Bible, is the best, most accurate account of events in the Bible from Beginning to End ! Anyone who knows about Roma Downey knows how religious she is. Not only does she play Mary, Mother of Jesus, but she is also one of the Producers...I can't say enough good things about this movie...

The was really good. The way the stories were done it made the bible come alive. You have to purchase it and add it to your collection.

I loaned this out and not got it back so I bought it again. It is well done and I really enjoyed watching it

Great series

This is a decent miniseries on the stories of the Bible. I love episodes 1-4, especially the first episode with Abraham and the fourth one with David. It does not have my favorite adaption of the Life of Jesus, but the Jesus is loving and sweet. It's a good series overhaul which we don't get too much of!

A series that helped me though a very tough time in life. To see parts of the bible in action give context to the stories in bible study and Sunday school as a child. While there is artistic license for much of the drama, it has served to boost my faith and make the characters of the Bible seem more than just storybook names from when I was a boy. It feels more real.Cheers to the distributor of the dvd. It came quickly and it really helps. GBY.

I am very pleased with this product. This series is very exciting as far as Christian entertainment goes. I hope more films/shows can rise to the occasion as this one has. My only complaint is that the case was broken somewhat internally. Closing the case is an awkward experience.

This has to be the best religious series there is! I watched it online at one point and then purchased it from here on Amazon.Highly recommend this series to anyone who loves to watch religious TV!!

There is a lot of stuff left out that is important, and stuff added that is not important. However, It is not bad. The acting is mostly good.It is unnecessarily violent all the way through, as if it was made to appeal to worldly theater patrons. However, if it draws people to read the Bible then it is a success.

Like most movie adaptations, this is poorly done. But as the book is the Bible, one would think that more effort would be taken on the part of the producers and writers. And one would be wrong to think that.
