Good price when you dont use them often, only time to time, so you dont need to invest a lot of money. But dont last as long as Duracell or Energizer, so if you need it often I consider buying long lasting batteries.

Bought these C batteries based on reviews
For some odd reason, I couldn't locate C batteries at my local chain grocery store. Bought these thru Amazon Prime for the quick delivery free shipping option.For yet another odd reason, my Sangean HDR-16 radio takes only C batteries. Why?!? No idea why the engineers at Sangean could not have designed the form factor to accept AAs. Both are 1.5 volts, by the way.The batteries look sturdy and *appear* leak proof. Remember always to remove batteries if you aren't using the intended product for too long. That's the general rule, anyway.
