Sturdy & reliable
I use these rods on a weekly basis. I put spider wire on them and they cast and reel with no problems. I caught a 15lb catfish and it barely bent the pole. Very sturdy & reliable. I bought 2 of these and may need 2 more.

Berkley bait casting rod
This Berkley pole is a good medium bait casting rod, the ferules seem to crack in a short time of use causing nicks and damage to the line. I give it a 7 out of 10 rating.

Gotta love it, great value and strong. There are some YouTube videos of guys using this to lift lawnmowers.

A great rod for the money.
Great rod for casting 2-3 ounce weights on the surf or pier. Great rod action that loads up for a good cast and yet has the sensitivity and strength to land a good fish on the pier or beach.

Pretty thin at the tip
What a disappointment. Ordered 2. First one had a broken guide like it had been crushed. The delivery box was perfect, so it happened before shipping. The second one was broke at the tip about 6 inches from the end. I didn't open the second one until a few days later after sending the first one off. I would not recommend this product.

Tough rod at a fair price
Everyone in my area only carries the spincaster, so I ordered my baitcaster here. Very strong rod considering the price. It's difficult to find a medium/heavy rod at this price point. The weak point is the plastic reel seat but, so far no problems with it breaking. No problems pulling in 20lb plus Channel Cats and Carp. Can barely reach eighty yards when casting 3oz but, that is about what I'd expect from a short baitcasting rod. Tip not protected during shipping, so I am amazed it arrived in perfect condition. Seller really should protect tip better for shipping.

Llegó incompleta, solo la parte de abajo, y lo peor es que veo en otra reseña que ha ocurrido antes. Solicité el reemplazo, espero en esta ocasión una caña completa. Actualización: Una vez solicitado el reemplazo, recibí la caña completa y tiene una excelente proporción calidad-precio. Excelente caña. Por eso modifique mi calificación de una a cinco estrellas.

Escelente caña de 2 pcs facil de transportar, la uso con carretes penn level wind 9 y 209 para pesca de orilla en playa, me ha dado muy buenos lances y resultados, la recomiendo.
