A: According to alldata pro, yes Mercon LV is the correct fluid for an automatic transmission.

**Q: I have a 2002 ford excursion 7-3l diesel 4x4 i believe me transmision is the 4r100 can i use this product on my transfer case.**
A: No. 4r100 does not work with the LV fluid.
I kept the old fluid in my 4r100. Transmission still running strong. I also put a filter system on mine. I change my side filter every year.

**Q: My transmission is 5r110w is this the fulid for it 2004 excursion 6.0 2 wheel drive**
A: Yes. I have used this in my 2005 F250 6.0...it replaced Mercon SP.  75k and two flushes...no problems, ever.
