My weather station just turned 5 years old, and after 5 years in Texas Sun as high as 109, subjected to Hurricane Harvey, even to the recent Texas Freeze recording 3 degrees, it was time to take it clean and refurbish the parts.My wind speed indicator bearing needed to replaced. I had used lubricant to extend the life, but it was sticking and incorrect or low. Solar was in decent condition, but the replacement is made of better material that does not look like it will fade like before.Out of this entire kit, I did not need/replace the existing rain tipping station as the plastic held it in so tightly it could not come out, so this new one was set aside for when it actually fails.This helped to extend the life of my station, and I added the Solar sensor to plan for accurate solar collection planning in the future.
