Following the very helpful advice from the review of another Amazon customer of this product "Old Codger" who states that this sling mount fits Crosman bare (not bull/shrouded) barrels, I purchased this Uncle Mike's sling mount from Amazon. After thoroughly reading the instructions and then carefully installing this sling mount on my Crosman Nitro Venom air rifle, I can testify that this is a wonderful product that does indeed fit on the Crosman Nitro Venom like a glove. As the air rifle is a bit heavy lugging around in the woods after awhile, I really appreciate this product as it allowed me to firmly and securely attach a sturdy sling onto my Crosman Nitro Venom with these permanent, high quality sling mounts. It allows my weary arms a well deserved rest when fatigued. Thank you Uncle Mike's for making such a useful, high quality product for my Crosman Nitro Venom air rifle! Needed something to allow mounting a sling to some of my air rifles and this fits the bill very nicely for 2 of them (Ruger Blackhawk .177 and new model Crosman Nitro Venom .22). Well designed, sturdy and easy to install. Adds a new dimension to the portability and usage of these rifles.Thanks Uncle Mike and Amazon!

The ammo tube mount was a little tricky to get tight without stripping (I did actually strip the Allen screw) but I called uncle mikes and they sent me out a whole new set. I give 5 stars because I think the screw stripping was operator error and not faulty craftsmanship. I used the extra swivels on my .22 rifle. The swivels do what a swivel does and seems durable as all getout.

I wish the feed tube clamp was a bit tighter, as it does move and could scratch the finish. I ended up applying gorilla tape on the inside to add a layer of protection and hopefully lessen any marking/scratches.

I bought these for a Rossi R92 in .357. they work great. If you are installing them yourself you need to be careful when drilling the stock but they look and work great and a good price compared to other places I checked.

First one I got was rusty and missing a piece so it was returned. 2nd was was still rusty but had all the pieces. Does not fit tightly following the instructions for the barrel clamp. Clamp I received was larger than the packaging said that it was and did not fit tightly to my R92 stainless as a result. Tightening screw also stripped with very little force. Overall not a great design. Maybe for plinker this will work but I wouldnt trust it carrying your gun over rough terrain while hunting. Just to reiterate the mag tube clamp is too big and does not fit the stated size (verified with caliper) and its not a sturdy material or design.

I'm still nervous it could scratch the metal, but so far it seems to hold well and not damaged anything. I could see how over tightening the screw might strip it out, so keep that in mind.

Fit perfectly on my 1894csbl, simple and effective.See no reason why this will not function long-term, well made simple design.
