I have known about Essiac herbal tea for many years and how it has helped many people. This book tells you the history and benefits of the tea. Although it's a remedy for cancer it can be taken for general health to support the immune system. A Canadian nurse Rene Caisse (Essiac spelled backwards)was given the formula in the 30s by Objibwa healers and successfully treated thousands for over 50 years amid considerable controversy.She was persecuted by the medical authorities most of her life and refused to give them the formula. Higher nature used to sell the tea. They are not allowed to sell it anymore after many years. This is a setback for humanity. Essiac has no side effects unlike pharmaceutical drugs.

I have breast cancer and am healing it holistically!! I have read a lot about ESSIAC Tea and I drink it 3x's a day EVERY DAY!! This book had lots of great information about the tea and its history!! Great read!
