Castle on the Cliff (Jack Jones)

My niece and I read this book together. It was the perfect length and incredibly detailed. My niece felt the characters were all relatable. She enjoyed that they had disagreements, but also celebrated victories like real friends do. The only struggle for her was that some of the words were a bit difficult for her age group (11). However, she likes challenges and expanded her vocabulary. The pictures were a fun break from the text, and boy were they detailed! Overall, excellent read. We highly recommend!

My 7 year old LOVES Jack Jones and has all the books at this point. He is going into 2nd grade and at the end of the year he was rated as having a high level J reading ability and he can read and understand these books all by himself. He has really grown as a reader reading these stories.

What's better than a great adventure, solving a mystery, and finding lost treasure? Not a thing, that's what. "Castle on the Cliff" is an entertaining, fun read. It would be fantastic for bedtime or storytime with the family. In my opinion, children will love this book and the others in the series with its witty dialogue and likable characters.Well worth a read for parents and kids.

We love the Jack Jones series because they are really good stories and are appropriate even for younger readers who need a more advanced reading level. This book is another good adventure to add to our collection.

This book is a very well written and fascinating children’s book. This is a story of a lost sword and how Jake, Albert, and Emma try to find that sword and faced various obstacles on the way. Very adventurous and entertaining story and it would make a perfect bedtime story for your kids.

This book is a lot of fun! It is full of mystery and humour. The characters are well-developed. The descriptions are very vivid. Kids would enjoy this fun story! The illustrations are cute and bring the story to life too. Wish there were more!
