These lanterns were beautiful, however came with no instructions for assembly. So we had to look at pictures from Amazon to figure out how to assemble. They absolutely MADE our Chinese New Year Celebration perfect!

You not gonna find any better deal than this one, but it would be better to include some instructions on how to snug the pieces together

Some of the pieces arrived a bit bent but they assembled ok. The material was pretty sturdy, like thick compressed felt. There were no instructions so I had to come back here and look at the product images to assemble. I had a few extra pieces, like the “Y” shaped ones and a few rings but I was able to build all 6 lanterns fine. The first one with gold glitter took me about 15 minutes, the second one/the oval shaped one was a bit easier to build. Instead of having a coin design for the bottom I received the “fu” word instead which I think looks better and I also got the knot design to hang on the end. The last lantern that looks the most intricate was the easiest to make!I recommend these, they were fun to assemble and look great!

I gave this two stars for several reasons. I actually lived in China for 3 years so I had a good idea what I was purchasing.These are made of a thin bendable felt material. They are not paper or plastic. You also have to assemble them, it does not come with instructions, and the vague mention of where to find the instructions is not clear. I never was able to find it. I ended up putting them together just by looking at the pictures and fiddling around. If you're not good at this, you're probably going to end up returning this before you get very far. There's several pieces that need to be cut or that haven't been very well cut from the factory. Lots of debris. They send tons of rings, often more than you need. One of the lantern shaped decorations actually was missing an entire piece so I can't even complete it.In the end, they look good. Because they're made of that cheap felt material, I'm not sure that they would be great for using year after year. Truth be told, they're the same thing that people buy in China for around the same price. If you want something of higher quality, you're going to have to pay for it.

I was tired of the paper decorations that only lasted a year and looked cheap. These lovely lanterns are beautiful, and will last a few years. They were also a great DIY craft project for my kids, 11 and 13. Easy for them to put together with the picture directions on Amazon. Beautiful red, and good size.

It's impossible to assemble these lanterns. The instructions are useless. What a waste of money!

Like a papercut extremely cheap. Could not assemble it. Ended up returning this. Never buy again
