Marshall Pet Hanging Nap Sack

I bought this to replace my previous Marshall Pet Hanging Nap Sack. My opinion of it so far is that it's sufficient. It's the same size as the original one, and the straps are just as long, but the quality of this new Nap Sack is not as good as the quality of my previous Nap Sack. The new one isn't quite as nicely padded. The straps on it aren't as thick, and the clips are not as heavy duty as the clips on the previous Nap Sack. The one that I'm replacing has served several ferrets for several years and still has a good deal of life left in it. I'm not sure this new Nap Sack will hold up to the same degree as the previous one. I'll give it a chance to prove itself though.

I’ve bought this product about 3-4 times over the last couple years, my three ferrets love this hammock and prefer it over any other bedding options in their cage. It is pretty large -it can easily fit 2 males but my 3 males fit if they don’t mind being crowded. It’s machine washable and you can adjust the straps easily enough! It’s a pretty big hammock but I see that as a benefit.Onto the bad… I mentioned I had to keep repurchasing this product. The fleece on the inside always begins to tear off/wear away after a few months, so I have to get a new one every ~6-8 months. My ferrets aren’t particularly rough with their bedding, it just happens from them snuggling in it. Every ferret product with fleece that I’ve owned seems to do this, so I don’t really fault the product too much.

My ferret loves this! It's a little large for his cage, but this just means he finally gets the bigger cage I keep threatening to buy him!It's large enough for two ferrets, I'd say, but my little guy (he weighs just over a pound, he's kinda on the small side) has plenty of room to haul and hide his toys inside. He has fun scratching around on the inside and spends most of his time when he's in his cage tucked half inside, head hanging over a side, sound asleep.The straps and hanging clips seem sturdy, but they're plastic and so far my ferret likes to chew at them. I'm a little concerned as to how durable that makes them, but the plastic is better (maybe) on his teeth than the metal clips of his last hammock. Since we put this in his cage, he's abandoned the sleeping bag on the bottom of his cage for the warm fleece and lambswool hammock. I'd definitely purchase this again.

My little guy loves these! I have several in rotation. Very easy to clean in the washer, I put them in little garment bags to wash safely with the straps. My boy is a bed digger though for comfort, so sometimes the inner linings tear up, so be sure to check that frequently for any hazards. They've all held up really well over time, we're big fans of these.

The nap sack arrived two days after I had ordered it (standard shipping). I was very pleased to see how quickly it was processed and shipped. When I recieved the nap sack it came in a very attractive package. When I removed it from the package I was astonished by how big the nap sack actually was. For 17.52 I was expecting to get something small that my ferret might go inside of IF she had room to. But this nap sack was wonderful, huge, soft, and attractive. The hooks are very good quality plastic with clips. Since I have installed the nap sack in my ferrets cage she will not leave it! Sleeps in it every chance she gets. The only time she actually gets out is to go to the restroom or to come out and play! This was a great buy and worth 2x the money

My ferret is unusually picky about bedding. It has to be snug and tight, and it has to cover him. If those two requirements aren't met, he'd rather sleep on the floor. This thing is perfect for him because it allows him to stay warm while also having the option to go underneath and sleep soundly. It also makes it easier for us to grab him so we can play.Ours lasted us 2 years before we finally had to throw it out due to just being constantly scratched up so much and chewed on after a while. We ended up getting him the pirate ship and he loves that even more than this hammock! The only problem is that he's not so easy to reach anymore, but otherwise he's comfy.

I purchased this item for my two 1-year old ferrets after their first hammock fell apart. I needed a product that was durable (as they like to dig at their hammock) and washable. This product meets both requirements. The inner fleece lining is very warm and I like that they can either sleep on top of or inside of the hammock. I no longer worry about them getting cold at night. They took to the hammock right away. My only criticism is that this hammock is a little small for two ferrets. If they had a slightly bigger version I would purchase that in an instant.

So far i really like this little hammock. Well, it really is pretty big but thats not a issue for me. I really love how he can lay on top of it or can nestle down inside it because it's like a big pocket sort of thing. He's had a friend for 8 years that we lost to cancer a few months ago and I think this hammock gives him that snuggled feeling he's was so use to with the other ferret. Plus it seems to be well made and should hold up through several washings. So far we/he loves it!!
