Great, heavy duty cable
Wow. I literally abused this cable as I was making runs through conduits. At time in frustration I would tug on it very hard. Several times I was almost sure I broke the internal wires. Nothing happened to it. It works great and can handle rough installs.

Professional quality cat 6a for the DYIer
These days it seems you can find no end to the amount of "so-called" cat 6a, cat 7, or cat 8 patch cable that claims to meet the printed spec, but in reality falls far short of it. This appears to be product targeted at the uneducated home installer who doesn't know that even short runs of moderate quality cat 6 can reach 10gps. Such cable is usually a very thin gage of 26 AWG stranded copper or copper clad aluminum or worse. But not this stuff. It is pure, solid 23awg copper with nice tight winds and thick foil shielding. The type of jacket and lack of termination connectors tells me that the 250" has been cut from the 1000 foot spools of riser cable purchased by professional installers. What makes this a five star product is the fact quality cable that actually meets cat6a or better spec is normally not sold in anything less than 1000" spools while garbage with false labeling in lengths of say 50" or 100" is typically marketed to the clueless, amateur consumer. That's what makes MicroConnector's cable a breath of fresh air. It's one of the few brands that offer professional quality cable in 'consumer' lengths so you aren't stuck with that extra 800" from a 1000" spool you can't use.

New Network with Wired Backhaul - Cable worked flawlessly
I just changed out my internal home network from a mostly Wi-Fi Mesh network to a wired backhaul to all routers (1 Main and 2 A/P's). This required running 4 new new lines inside the walls to the new router. We then added some wiring to additional rooms for dedicated network connections. This cable has a tough outer jacket but was bendable enough to get through tight spots. 3 of the 4 runs were at least 50' in length. We recorded the speed at the modem and then again at the back of the wireless router. When we tested each new connection, the speeds were within a few Mbps of the modem. No internal shorts or significant losses.I am a fan and would recommend.

Top quality cable but so much thicker than I expected.
This cable is excellent and gave me gigabit speeds with my fiber optic cable modem. Just know that it has a great deal of isolation and insulation material inside the cable that makes it twice as thick as CAT5. The strain relief boots that I had for my Cat5 cable don't fit. This cable won't slip into the opening of the pass- through Cat6e connectors that I bought unless you mash it with pliers and flatten it into an oval. It's great cable but it's at least 2X the difficulty in creating your own cables compared to five CAT5. It's also much thicker coming out of your router (which adds up when you have five cables side-by-side) and less flexible when you try to snake it through an entertainment center.

Fantastic Cable
I'm using this to replace Cat5, this cable is thicker than Cat6, make sure you get Cat6A connectors, regular Cat6 connectors won't work, wires are thick. Same with jackets. It's shielded, nice metal material.

Delivers excellent bandwidth but requires patience to install plugs
After researching options available for my home network, this cable more than met my needs for now and the foreseeable future. While Cat 7 and 8 offer up to 4x more bandwidth, the cost of equipment, energy consumption and length limitations far outweigh the benefits of slightly better speeds. The shielding of this cable offers additional protection against cross interference when run along side ethernet and coax cables. The difficulty with this cable lies mostly with the physical restraints of ethernet plugs which were not designed to handle the larger conductors and cable jacket. Because of the thicker wire, installing the plugs takes patience. since the wires must be positioned into 2 rows to accommodate the thicker gauge wire. After wasting money on several so-called Cat 6a compatible plugs, I settled on the Platinum Tools Ezex48 Shielded RJ45 External Ground Connector. My research shows this is the only plug compatible with this cable. There are many options for jacks. For my install, I had success with the TRENDnet Shielded Cat6A RJ45 Keystone Jack.Due to cable stiffness, it is important to avoid introducing twists when installing. This is solved by building a simple spool holder out of scrap plywood. (see photo).

Kit? No cable ends, just cable.
Describes a kit with 10 RJ45 cable ends, did not include any cables ends. Had to order cable ends in order to finish my project.
