It’s a beautiful pattern and great for beginners. I love how the colors go so well with one another. I would just suggest a small change from the manual. Instead of using 6 strands for the satin stitch of flowers, 3 strands work great. I tried both. The dark peach has 3 strands and the light peach was done using 6 strands. I personally like the look of the former. Otherwise, it is a great kit and comes with surplus thread, enough to make another complete piece in the same design!

Great for the price and great in general! I have NEVER embroidered a day in my life and I think I did a pretty good job. They give you all the thread in all the colors needed cut into 18 in pieces for easy work. Everything worked well and the floss colors are so beautiful together. They give you extra so there is room for mistakes - I had a few - and it’s presented in such a way that it won’t get knotted or mixed up. The ONLY thing you need in addition to this kit is a Needle threader! They are very cheap and worth it, especially for a project like this. That’s it! I didn’t even really use scissors because the thread is all cut to size. Get it! You won’t regret it! I’m getting another one for a family member for the holidays. It was a great time.

I really loved this. First time trying embroidery but I am an avid cross stitcher. The instructions were a little weird but I got the hang of it quickly. Like someone else said, the needle was next to impossible to thread so I got one of my own. I thought it turned out wonderfully and I would highly recommend.

I like the design, and the floss colors are bright. But the fabric is exceedingly thin with a tight weave. The enclosed needle barely held the 6-strand floss, and then literally broke! The eye completely separated from the rest of the needle as I was trying to pull the thread through. The fabric also retained its crease despite my attempts to iron it. I wished I could just copy the design onto better fabric.

I just opened this kit and I’m disappointed. The hoop is cheap and will barely open. The favorite is polyester, which I’ve never seen in an embroidery kit - usually cotton fabric is standard. Poly is cheaper. The design stamp is so light, I can barely see it. I wanted to send it back but it’s not worth the $6 to send it back. Garbage.Next time I’m going to Etsy to find quality embroidery kits.

The most ive ever sewn is really a few buttons here and there but wanted to pick up a hobby that I could stop and start anytime. This was a very cute design and way easier than I thought. The instructions with it are not good for beginner's but watching online videos of the stitches was super helpful.My biggest complaint was the needle provided was not large enough for this project. I could barely get it threaded and it would not properly puncture the material. I literally had to use pliers to pull it through every time after both my husband and I tried with no success. I ended up purchasing a bigger needle set from the store the next day.Plenty of thread included, which was great as I had to waste some after fraying it several time with the threading process.Nice kit, joke needle.
