Review update: I contacted the roaster and they explained that their roasted on date and best by date include month and day only, not the year. Amending my review after looking past the bad labeling and opening the bag, grinding the beans, and brewing coffee. It’s wonderful.First review: This coffee is ridiculously old, should not be sold. With no returns possible, what a waste. Do not buy.

I used to make my latte with the brooklyn every morning made me feel oh so good! Super smooth and every tasting notes you can actually taste them in this coffee beans! I hope they continue this one.

For me buying coffee beans is always an agonizing process. Always in search of the perfect bean/blend before I decide I can be found for days on end on the internet searching new roasters and reading reviews. Well my bean supply was running low and I needed to restock. I have bought from Partners Coffee their beans on a few occasions. Sometimes direct from them, a few times through DoorDash and this time I purchased through Amazon. Why? I had on Amazon a $7 credit they owed me and as a Prime member I get free shipping. I could have used these benefits for any other vendor but ultimately chose Partners because of my positive experience with their product. I don’t drink more than 2 cups of coffee a day but I have high expectations for those cups. Partners have never disappointed. I purchased a 12 oz bag of Flatiron and a 12 oz bag of their Manhattan blends. Package was delivered on time as promised and was received by the doorman in my building. When I got home and he told me I had a package he added “boy that smells good”. This made me happy knowing how Partners roasts their beans just before shipping so they’re not sitting on some shelf losing their potency. I’ve already had a few cups of the Manhattan variety and it’s full bodied, tasty with a wonderful aroma. I highly recommend Partners not only for their superior products but their customer service is responsive and timely. I’m sure as time goes on and I need to once again resupply my coffee beans I will be found searching the net for products and reviews but chances are very good I’ll be returning to Partners. I don’t like taking chances with my coffee.

Good decaf worth getting.

So, this product (Brooklyn) states in the title that it is a medium roast, but it is actually very light. Similar to a Tanzanian Peaberry. Now that I am looking at the page again, I see the chart of all their roasts further down, where it says this is "medium-light", which is more accurate, but I would say light.The flavor is not bad, if you like light coffee, you should probably try it. But I don't think I can give an accurate description. The bag I received had expired 8 months ago, so I returned it. It seemed like this coffee may have promise though, so I might try one of the darker roasts.Flatiron: So I decided to try a darker roast, and got Flatiron. It had a wonderful smell, but again was lighter than what I would consider a medium roast. I ended up mixing it (1 part) with a dark italian roast from another company (3 parts) and that was pretty enjoyable. It gave the coffee a nice flavor and aroma. But again, I got a bag that was expired by 8 months, but I didn't realize until it was almost gone. I don't think I'll be trying this coffee again though.

Change is not good - in this case

Smooth, not bitter, even when you drink it strong and black as I do! Strongly recommend.

I loved that the coffee was roasted at the time of my order. I love the flavor of the decaf, smooth and mellow.
