BisonKing is yet another stellar entry in a really fun toyline. And boy, is it large in the Bison Buggy mode. I knew the buggy was larger than the other individual Otomonin in the line, but I didn't know quite how much larger it really was. While Lion Ha-Ojo is HUGE, the Bison Buggy's footprint isn't really all that much smaller when they're side by side. Obviously it's not quite as massive, and not anywhere near as tall, but it still takes up quite a bit of desk/table/shelf space in that configuration. He rolls pretty well, but his wheels are pretty loud on any hard surface and he is basically just the robot form laying flat on his stomach with some parts swapped around. Doesn't bother me, but I could see some others not liking that aspect of the buggy mode. The main event for this set is when Rodeomaru combines with the Bison Buggy's transformed (partsformed?) mode to form BisonKing, which is really cool looking with his cowboy-hat shuriken and gold tassels. Unlike Shurikenjin, who is piloted from the cockpit in his chest (Dumpmaru) - Rodeomaru actually rides on top of BisonKing to form the head, with the shuriken sitting on top. BisonKing isn't quite as articulated as Shurikenjin and Gekiastu Dai-Oh, since he does not enter a sitting position like those two do - so he's more along the lines of what we're used to with Sentai mecha; arm articulation, and that's about it. That said, BisonKing is also the only mecha formation in the line who can stand inside Lion Ha-Ojo's back cavity since his feet are smaller than Shurikenjin and Gekiatsu Dai-Oh's. As a nice couple of bonus options, Bison King can also combine with Dragomaru to form BisonKing Drago, or Surfermaru to form BisonKing Surfer, although the latter never appeared in the show. Rodeomaru can also replace Shinobimaru as a pilot to form the Shurikenjin Texas combination. Lots of different options with this set.In typical Sentai sixth-mecha fashion, BisonKing can also split apart into a bunch of parts to combine with Shurikenjin to form King Shurikenjin, who is tall and beautiful, and surprisingly solid. The super-mega-robo-diaper part included with BisonKing that attaches to the back of Shurikenjin's legs helps stabilize him quite a bit. The King Shurikenjin combo actually ends up being the tallest in the whole toyline, standing about a Shuriken/Head taller than Lion Ha-Oh and his combos. On top of his ability to form BisonKing and King Shurikenjin, he also combines with Lion Ha-Oh, and Shurikenjin or Gekiatsu Dai-Oh to form Ha-Oh Shurikenjin and Ha-Oh Gekiatsu Dai-Oh, giving guns and a sweet fanny pack to both ultimate combinations, which really provides some much needed counterweight to all the front-loaded mecha parts those formations have. This is a great stand-alone toy with two different modes and a smaller pilot figure to ride/pilot them - but he really shines if you have the rest of the toyline to combine him with as well. If you're collecting the Ninninger toyline - or even if you just have Shurikenjin - this guy is more than good enough to pick up. If you're planning to complete the toyline, however, then this is an absolute must have - and he's well worth every cent (or yen) you'll spend on him.

Yee-Haw! Bison! Bison King!
The Ninninger DX mecha line continues with the DX Bison King. Bought for my son last year for Christmas, and he loved it. Got here very quickly, and it was worth the cash.Bison King can be divided into two zords, the ATV-like Bison Buggy, and the Shinobimaru-esque pardner to Starninger, Rodeomaru. The NinShuriken included, the Otomo NinShuriken: Rodeomaru, has three sounds meant to be used in Starninger's burger-cellphone morpher (not included, expect Ninja Steel to change it up majorly) - activation (Otomo NinShuriken!), standby (guitar riff - The Come On! (repetitive trio of guitar-string plucks), and summon (spinning - Rider, Rider-er (???) RODEOMARU! (rock music, engine revs)). When formed into Bison King (whose face kinda looks like Simon's glasses from "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann"), or combined with the DX Shuriken Gattai Shurikenjin (also sold separately) to form King Shurikenjin, your own Nintality will surpass the limits! So what are you waiting for? In the words of Bruno form MMPRToys, "I THINK I NEED THAT!!!" So go get yours today!

Better then the power rangers version
This is much nicer and better built then the American version was.I would definitely recommend buying this over the American version if you can afford it.the American power rangers version is certainly the lesser cheaper version
