These are the best dredgers available, and at such a great price point. They are sturdy, made of good quality stainless steel and will withstand years of kitchen abuse. I keep one filled with flour, great for thickening sauces or gravies without clumping, another for cornstarch to apply evenly to potatoes before frying, and another with powdered sugar which dresses up crepes, Dutch babies, etc.

I purchased two of these dredges to keep salt and pepper handy on my stovetop. I am very happy with that decision, and am planning to buy several more for sugar, seasoned salts, and other spices. This item is solid and well-manufactured; the tops screw on easily and fit snuggly. It is important to note that these dredges are made of POLISHED stainless steel and are shinier (and more attractive) that the photo suggests. I only gave this item four stars because Winware does not seem to make interchangeable tops with larger holes for their stainless steel dredges like they do for their plastic dredges. I would like to be able to use the stainless dredges for Splenda, dried parsley, etc.
