SNAP Mounts Magnetic Action Camera Chest Mount for GoPro & DJI Osmo Action

The snap mount for the GoPro 11 is a versatile and user-friendly accessory that enhances the overall experience of using the camera. Its magnetic attachment system is incredibly convenient, allowing for quick and secure mounting in various environments. The build quality is robust, ensuring that the GoPro stays firmly in place even during intense activities. However, the magnet’s strength can be a double-edged sword; while it ensures stability, it can also make detaching the GoPro a bit challenging. Overall, it’s a valuable addition for GoPro users seeking a reliable and efficient mounting solution.

Invaluable accessory for GoPro or any action camera. I use the device with my DJI action 4. I use the small rig magnetic attachment, which allows me to remove the camera without unscrewing the device. Snap mount has a magnetic base with a rubberized cover as seen in the picture which prohibits any scratches on your vehicle when attaching to the door hood roof. You can place the lanyard under your shirt. The magnet is incredibly strong. Be careful. I used the unit on the top of my vehicle. It did not move even at high speed. I did put a lanyard through the window just in case it came off. It can be attached to your backpack and with the additional magnetic mounts to your road bike motorcycle or ATV. Definitely an accessory needed for those on the go.

It’s just a handful of strong magnets, but man this small setup makes a world of difference. The magnets are strong enough to clip onto crossbody bag straps so I don’t have to worry about taking my GoPro in and out of a bag/carrying case. More importantly the magnets are strong and the hinge stays in place. I’m not dumb enough to stick this on my car without attaching a backup cable (like some other reviewers), but this is perfect in the gym. Getting video of yourself in the gym can be difficult to do alone, but there are so many metal surfaces. These snap mounts are 100% perfect for this. You can even stick the whole GoPro onto the machine weights and get interesting shots in motion. Zero complaints about the product itself. Just wish the price was cheaper and the screw wasn’t such an obnoxious green color. Maybe future versions will have more subdued color options, though unless I lose mine I don’t foresee needing to repurchase.

I just got mine mount yesterday for my GoPro 11 Black. I use my GoPros to film all day long, over 7 hours most trips. I also use a frame so I can go without batteries (using external power). So the bumps on the mount were in the way and would limit the angle of the camera. Off to the shop and a little work with the flat disc and I was able to smooth the bumps away. Perfect. The magnets are very strong. I don't think they will fail especially wearing a teeshirt for filming. The one weak point would be the lanyard. The string attached to the end is very thin. It appears to a point of possible failure but I will test it tomorrow. I will update this review if there are any issues, but I am looking forward to getting a better perspective on of videos and with a much more confortable mounting system.

I used this while traveling all over Europe. It allowed me to enjoy the sights while my GoPro filmed from the center of my chest. The magnets are strong! I keep the fixture on my camera all the time because when attached to the lanyard, it creates a strong, flexible base for flat surface filming or keeping your camera raise slightly off the surface it is on. I initially tried a clip, but it was hard to open and is limiting. You truly can attach it as high, low, or to the side as you want. 10/10

I like these strong little magnets. I ordered these before and I believe there were more magnets than this in the package but they’re solid. Won’t have to worry about them falling off they have Kungfu grip.

So far it’s awesome love it

It worked as expected with one caveat. It should come with two lanyards. If you notice in the photos the lanyard is shown on the mount that goes inside so if you remove your camera you don’t lose the mount. Well, I lost my camera instead. Down to the bottom of the ocean my GoPro went. The grip must not have been strong enough through my wetsuit top while snorkeling. I got caught up and bumped my camera and down she went. 50+ feet down during a night snorkel with manta rays. A second lanyard would have stopped this from happening. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Great product that does the job

I will never struggle for a mounting kit for my GoPro anymore. This product is easy to carry & use. Thanks.

I stuck my Insta360 Ace Pro to a light post at a traffic circle in Mazatlán and captured the attached timelapse video. It works well!
