In the past I've often reused takeout containers to store food in the fridge, but that has the potential to leach plastic into my leftovers, and plastic can be hard to clean as well: it holds onto grease, for instance. So while I find the Stasher bags to be pricey, the silicone is safer to use, I believe, and feels very durable. I also like the triangular shape of this particular one, which allowed me to put a bouquet of parsley inside a little jelly jar of water into the Stasher bag, seal it, and park it on the refrigerator shelf with little danger of spillage or evaporation. I think it'll work to use the sous vide setting to cook salmon in my InstantPot as well. I'm happy with my purchase!

I’ve been using these for years. They keep food well sealed and fresh whether in a cabinet, the fridge or a freezer. Never had one fail in years. They clean easily enough by hand or in the dishwasher. But like most things that aren’t glass or metal, they don’t dry well in the dishwasher. A swipe with a towel, and a few more minutes left open to be sure they’re completely dried, are required to keep them fresh and ready to use. Better than plastic, easy to reheat right in the Stasher, and less room to store. I’m certain to purchase more.

I am using these bags for nuts I store in the freezer. I bought them because I wanted to avoid plastic. They are very sturdy, easy to open and close and hold a lot with the wide bottom. I wish Amazon had done a better job of packaging. The 3 bags came in a medium cardboard box with plastic pillows when they would have fit in a medium-sized envelope.

This has been such a great snack and toiletries bag when traveling! It is easy to clean, it has never leaked and I can see the contents right away through one of the sides, and the other side is opaque enough that you can’t tell what is inside, and I have the clear stashed.

I don't get why these are so high in price, but I do like the product. They stack nicely in the freezer and seal very well. I docked them one star because the seals are challenging to open - frustrating when trying to access an ingredient during meal prep (have to stop progress, cajole the seal, set your jaw just right, groan out loud and finally pry it open). The good news - resealing it is a cinch!

This is not cheap, but really meets the expectations! Super light and perfect to carry in small bags/backpacks. Dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Amazing product!!

This was my 4th stasher purchase, no regrets. I just purchased my 5th and 6th product as well. Every stasher bag I've gotten I've been floored with how amazing it is. They fit in my small lunch box and they hols up perfectly in the freezer. I haven't tried cooking in them like the website says they can do, but I will try that one day. These bags work great and I recommend them whole heartedly.

These are my go-to now! For camping: oatmeal - just add boiling water, freezing - no brittle, breakable plastic, for storage - waterproof, easy to clean, no leaks. I keep buying them 1-2 at a time since they are expensive, but will not have to buy plastic, short-lived ziplock bags again!

Je voulais acheter ces sacs en silicone pour avoir à la fois un contenant léger qui peut s’emmener au vrac sans peser une tonne et une fois ramené à la maison, pas besoin de le transvaser, ce modèle tient debout tout seul donc c'est aussi mon contenant à la maison. Pour le moment, j’en ai un moyen et 4 petits mais je compte augmenter ma "collection" (oui, on achète au fur et à mesure, vu le prix) et aussi bientôt acheter les sachets plats pour faire du meal prep à congeler !

Great and versatile silicone bag. Perfect for storing food in the fridge, easy to clean and open/close securely. I also use mine when travelling to carry cosmetics or small objects. It’s rather expensive to buy but with proper care it will last a long time and eliminate usage of disposable plastic bags.
