Detailed and with good fit
arrived in good time. The kit has photo etched parts which was exciting for someone who's just getting into PE parts. The kit does come with parts for a different turret, engine deck and with ammunition although you can only fully complete one turret and deck. You can also add torsion bars to the hull floor but they are the only internals that come with the kit. The turret has a few rough fits but the smoke grenades look surprisingly good and could easily be filled with black putty to look full. The tracks are individual links which look great when finished but take a lot of time and are fixed. The suspension arms have a small hole that mates with a pin on the hull to stay fixed but it could easily be removed to have the arm at any angle you want on its traverse, so making a diorama with this kit can be done. Fun build with a good amount of challenge for a intermediate modeller

Lovely little model
Would class this as one of Airfix's easy assembly models, but good fun none the less. Seems reasonably detailed for the scale, - it is small.

Very Average
Being British and of a certain age I have a natural desire to see Airfix do well. They were an integral part of any child of the 60's and 70's. We all know of their travailles in recent times and it appears that in many ways they are getting back on track. Now, Airfix were never at the high end of the market and some of their kits were a little 'basic' but in recent times they have done a superb job with some of their new moulds for their aircraft. They have also seen that AFV modelling has become much more popular - probably in line with some of the superb videos on YouTube - and wanted a slice of the pie. And they have done this by buying or using other manufacturers output notably Academy. Not sure who makes this rebox but compared to my last Airfix tank, the Tiger 1 at least the instructions are clear(ish). If you are expecting the quality of that is in the new aircraft mouldings then forget it. Useable but very average.Which, this model is. There are some good points which, is the crisp mouldings and mostly good fit. However, where I feel this model is not up to what one would hope for is the track system. It is the dreaded - in my eyes - sectional track that means you have to assemble it all in one go before painting. This to me makes it nearly impossible to do the best job because in order to do so I find painting the track seperately works best.On some sectional track models it is possible to do this but the overall delicacy of the parts here makes that somewhat unlikely.Overall, this is a reasonable, if lower end rebox that's thankfully relatively cheap. It's maybe a good kit to practice on but for me, I think in future I'll go with RFM or MENG for the better quality AFV kits.

Its not for a beginner
I have given this kit 5 stars but be warned it takes work to get the best from this kit.. the flash and injection mould marks are bad but you can work around it... it just puts time into the build.. I had to spend time making things fit... but for the money a kit will a full interior.. its a no brainer.. the kit when it was finished was stunning... but its not a weekend build .. big question would I buy the kit again or any other airfix kit.. yes now I know what to expect... and how to get the best from the kit...

Shame about the tracks
I ordered this expecting a model of a large striped cat! Ok that bit was a joke. Yeah it’s a pretty good model. The tracks are a bit poor (made of of a few individual plastic strips that have to be glued end on to each other around the wheels. To be honest, if you take your time with them they actually look alright. Not a bad little kit for the money and a nice size.
